Temperature sensor Quattro, MultiPlus and GX Device
This is a replacement part to fit a range of Victron inverters and inverter loads that have a dedicated temperature sensing input.
The temperature sensor connects directly to either pole of the battery and monitors the temperature of the external battery.
The temperature measurement is used to adjust the battery capacity to the temperature (this is extremely important to prolong the life of the battery).
Available battery capacity decreases with temperature, the inverter will also vary the charge current according to the temperature.
